  • Returns & Cancellations

    At Choice Office Furniture, we want your ordering experience to be as smooth as possible. The information below outlines our policies for receiving freight, returns, used furniture purchases, and order cancellations. If you have any questions before placing an order, our team is happy to help.


    Receiving Your Freight

    Please inspect your shipment as soon as it arrives.

    • If you decide you do not want certain items after delivery, please leave them unopened and in their original packaging
    • If any items arrive damaged, please take clear photos and contact us right away so we can provide instructions and help arrange replacements if needed
    • Orders scheduled for local warehouse pickup must be picked up within 10 days of purchase
    • Items not picked up within 10 days may be subject to a 30% restocking fee
    • Please do not refuse freight deliveries, as refused shipments may result in return shipping charges

    Freight Returns

    To ensure returns are handled properly, all freight returns must be approved in advance by our staff.

    • Unauthorized returns may be denied
    • Freight returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee
    • Original shipping and freight charges are non-refundable once an order has shipped
    • Items must be returned in their original box and packaging
    • Returned items must be in new condition
    • Items that are scratched, damaged, mishandled, or altered may not be eligible for return
    • Return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery
    • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility
    • Customers are responsible for arranging freight and palletizing returned items securely to prevent damage in transit
    • Refunds are typically processed within 3–7 business days after the returned freight is received, less applicable restocking fees and shipping costs

    Local Returns

    All local returns must also be approved in advance by our team.

    • Unauthorized local returns may be denied
    • Local returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee
    • Items must be returned in the original box and packaging
    • Returned items must be in new condition
    • Items that are scratched, damaged, mishandled, or altered may not be eligible for return
    • Delivery and assembly services are non-refundable
    • Return requests for local deliveries must be submitted within 48 hours of receipt
    • Labor costs related to local returns are the customer’s responsibility
    • Items must be returned in undamaged condition

    Used Office Furniture & Second-Hand Items

    Used and second-hand furniture is handled differently than new inventory.

    • A non-refundable 25% deposit is required to hold used office furniture
    • Holds remain in effect for up to 10 days
    • If the purchase is not completed within that time, the item may be released for sale
    • All used office furniture is sold as-is and final
    • Used and second-hand items cannot be returned

    Order Cancellations

    We do our best to keep cancellations simple whenever possible.

    • Standard items may be canceled for a full refund any time before shipping
    • Made-to-order items may be subject to a 30% restocking fee once production has begun
    • Orders that have been palletized or loaded for shipment are considered shipped and will be handled under the return policy
